SMPTE Australia Section invites members and guests to discover
Wireless Audio in a Digital Wonderland
Our special guest for this night: Volker Schmitt
With traditionally available spectrum now being re-directed to other uses, manufacturers and users alike are turning to new techniques to achieve the results they need.
Volker Schmitt has been involved at the deepest levels of wireless audio product development at Sennheiser for many years and now heads a global team of engineers dedicated to supporting customers with special technical requirements.
Now based at Sennheiser HQ in Wenebostel near Hanover, Germany, Volker has lived and worked for a number of years in both the USA and Japan.
Volker has gained a truly expert level in all aspects of wireless mic design & usage. Through his many years of hands-on experience in the field, he has a unique insight into the latest developments in the field of wireless audio.
In this presentation Volker will tell us about further spectrum changes planned for Europe and the Americas, and will also outline some of the different approaches being taken to deliver reliable, high quality wireless audio for professional users in this changing landscape.
Please join us for this unique opportunity to keep abreast of developments and what they will (or won’t) be able to deliver to us.
As always, SMPTE Section Meetings are open to members of SMPTE and related guilds, guests and friends.
