WILDSCOPE Cinema at the Zoo – Tuesday 4 April

Main Course Films in association with ACS, ADG, SPAA & SMPTE invites you to a special industry Q & A screening with Producer/DOP Ben Allan ACSWriter/Director Clara Chong for the new Taronga Zoo short film “Wild Squad Adventures” in the custom-built Taronga Centenary Theatre, presented in WILDSCOPE.

The new Taronga Centenary Theatre is a permanent 180 seat cinema inside the zoo with a unique format called “WILDSCOPE”. The screen is over 80 ft wide, more curved than Cinerama and with an aspect ratio of 5:1, more than double CinemaScope.

The live action narrative drama “Wild Squad Adventures” takes the audience on a fictional action adventure journey to build awareness of the conservation work that Taronga does around the world and to inspire kids to get involved in protecting animals and the environment.

The production required numerous world firsts and working in WILDSCOPE involved writing a new rule book for this most extreme format.

Date: Tuesday, 4th April 2017
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

RSVP here by lunchtime on Monday 3 April.
Please note RSVPs are essential and seats are strictly limited.  More importantly, the Zoo won’t let you in if you’re not on the list.
