Stay in touch with SMPTE15. What’s happening, where is it being held, when, and more: the event website is open for business. Planning is well under way for the conference and exhibition, running from 14-17 July 2015.
This year the event will take place at the Moore Park Entertainment Quarter, allowing easy access to a range of facilities not seen in recent years.
The theme “Persistence of Vision – 100 Years of SMPTE” goes directly to the influence that media technology and the standards processes have made our industry possible.
The main event will span the Hordern Pavilion, the Royal Hall of Industries, and incorporate the very useful space between the buildings. We are in advanced stages of planning to take advantage of other landmark facilities which are within easy walking distance of the main event.
In conjunction with the conference and exhibition, SMPTE Australia Section will also host the July Standards Committee meetings, to be held in the week before SMPTE15.
