SMPTE Australia section welcomes members and guests to an illuminating evening with Rosco

Rosco, founded in 1910, is still best known for the products it originally manufactured: filters for entertainment lighting. The company now offers products in more than a dozen categories. These include gobos (or patterns), correction filters for film lighting, fog and haze machines, dance floors, scenic paint and backdrops for theatre and film/video.

Tom Swartz, Director for Market Development in A/NZ will be taking you through some of the latest developments in light control systems, backdrops, digital compositing/scenic paints and other light control related tools for television and film production.

There’ll be hands on demonstrations of multi-stop light control to balance indoor/outdoor lighting conditions as well as the creation of studio environments with day/night studio backdrops and more.

Come along to the ACS Clubhouse, Level 2, 26 Ridge Street, North Sydney 6.30pm 23 August 2016
