Whether you went to NAB or not, come and join the SMPTE Australia Section as we discover the new Telstra Customer Insight Centre and have a massive evening of exposition and amazement.

If you think that’s hype, wait until you see what’s happened at 400 George Street since we were last there for the 2013 Bash.  The Telstra CIC is a technical tour-de-force with a number of firsts and unique offerings based around the most amazing use of technology.

The good news is that this night comes with plenty of tour and no force!

Yes, there really is a robot concierge…

On the formal program in the Telstra Theatre, presentations from Stuart Pointon (Business Development Manager, Lemac) and Gary Traver  (Director, Media Engineering, Telstra).

Then we’ll have a Panel Discussion and Q+A from those who travelled and lived to tell the tale.  All this will happen at the Telstra Customer Insight Centre

You can get to the CIC easily by public transport.

400 George Street is half way between Wynyard and Town Hall.  From either station (or another route) you can take any 4xx bus that runs along George Street, and they will all stop right at the door of 400 George.Telstra_logo

Enter the building from George Street, go to the bank of lifts at the far end (L, M and N), and press “2” on the touch panel outside the lifts.   The clever experience starts right there.
