Prodigy’s Nick Reynolds Runs
with Don
Prodigy
Director, Nick Reynolds, is responsible for the latest “Don
Is Good”15-second spot currently airing nationally. The amusing
TVC was commissioned by Y&R Melbourne for George Weston Foods
to promote their new “97% Fat Free” Range of smallgoods.
The spot demonstrates Reynolds characteristic flair for comedy,
opening on a fleeing jogger holding tightly to a ham roll, then
cutting back to a stunned man staring at his empty lunch box, then
forlornly waving his sandwich goodbye with the tagline “Don
… Is Gone.” It has been a successful year for Reynolds,
who won his second consecutive award at the Cannes International
Advertising Festival in the Cosmetics and Deodorant Category for
“ Hunchback,” a TVC he completed for BBH Singapore and
Play Films in 2003. In addition he has been working on a bevy of
TVCs in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, including the latest NZ
Yellow Pages spots to be aired in NZ over the next 12 months.
